Scott and Tim’s journey began during their time serving in the United States Marine Corps. Their initial encounter occurred at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, CA, where they formed a bond that would endure for years to come. Though their paths diverged when Scott’s 6-year enlistment came to an end, their friendship and connection remained steadfast. Fate intervened once again when Tim found himself in Jacksonville, FL, serving as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer Recruiter. The reunion was immediate, and their friendship seamlessly resumed after 23 years. With Tim’s retirement from active duty and transition to the corporate sector, the stage was set for their collaboration.
In February 2020, Scott accomplished a remarkable feat: the development of an enterprise-class SQL Server/Database solution addressing four critical pain points faced by corporations striving for PCI, NACHA, and HIPAA reporting, audit, and regulatory compliance. Recognizing the profound impact of this solution and the pressing need within the IT industry for a dedicated, results-driven team, their entrepreneurial instincts surged to the forefront. Collaborative discussions between Tim and Scott ensued, laying the foundation for what would soon become 4 Horsemen Solutions®. In March 2020, the company’s inception became official, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey.
Choosing a name for their visionary corporate technology and compliance enterprise posed a considerable challenge. However, a stroke of brilliance emerged from an unexpected source—Blair, Tim’s wife. She astutely noted that the company was taking shape amidst the tumultuous backdrop of the Coronavirus Pandemic, an “Apocalyptic time.” Inspired by this insight, they arrived at the moniker “The 4 Horsemen,” capturing the essence of their mission. Thus, 4 Horsemen Solutions®, LLC was born, symbolizing their commitment to ushering in a new era of transformative solutions.
