Tim earned a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, FL. He holds a Defense Acquisition University, Level II Certification in the Program Management domain, and currently holds an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance. Tim is also an expert in Government/Commercial Contracting, Import/Export Regulatory Compliance, and International Trafficking in Arms (ITAR), and provides motivational speaking engagements to veterans.
A certified Microsoft Solutions Developer and programmer, Scott Piersall is a results-driven technology executive with 30+ years of experience who has founded, built, and sold multiple successful technology startups. Scott has a strong focus on problem-solving, strategic planning, and leading product development teams. He has taught university-level courses in software development, systems design and analysis, database development, and software engineering. Scott continues to lead numerous technology initiatives and strategic solutions that have repeatedly delivered high-producing solutions in healthcare, recycling, waste management, material recovery, credit card processing, ACH processing, and aviation supply and logistics industries.
Scott is currently pursuing a PhD and is a faculty member at the University of North Florida teaching Entrepreneurship and Systems Programming. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. He has published multiple papers that have been accepted in various industry journals. Scott also holds over fifteen industry certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Scott is also an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
